Our History
Environmental Training and Compliance, established in 1989, is a health and safety consulting company specializing in employee training and program management. Our courses focus on hazardous chemical operations and emergency response procedures. These certification classes are developed to meet federal and state Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), and the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements.
At ETAC, we stress the practical application of the regulations to ensure “competency-based” training. Our instructors have extensive experience with professional backgrounds in industrial hygiene and emergency response. Our sessions include interactive classroom workshops and “hands-on” use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Lead Trainer: Daryl Pease, CESCO
Daryl’s academic background includes an undergraduate degree in Health Science specializing in Industrial Hygiene. He has over twenty-five years of experience in the environmental health and safety field holding various EHS roles for manufacturing facilities, hazardous waste transporters and Treatment Storage and Disposal Facilities (TSDF) throughout California and Arizona. He also has an EHS Consulting business, Environmental Safety Compliance Consulting Inc., which helps clients in California, Nevada and Arizona with Federal, State and Local EHS compliance needs.
His experience includes development of health and safety programs ranging from Injury Illness and Prevention Programs to Emergency Planning and Respiratory Protection. Health and safety training
include Powered Industrial Trucks, Hazard Communication, Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response, Permit-Required Confined Space Entry, and Department of Transportation Hazardous Materials Handling courses.
Environmental Health and Safety field work ranges from industrial hygiene surveys and AQMD permitting/VOC logging to NPDES Stormwater management programs, treatment storage and disposal
facility (TSDF) permitting and environmental/safety facility audits.
